'Mahanati' run time locked

The most awaited film of the year ‘Mahanati’ is gearing up for its grand release on May 9 after a huge round of promotions. The film directed by Nag Ashwin is a biopic on South India’s first female superstar Savithri. Set from the 50s to 80s, this biopic is a celebration of Savithri as a person.
Recently the film cleared its censor formalities with a clean U certificate without a single cut.It is heard that the film has a run time of 176 minutes which is close to three hours. As per sources the makers have shown most of Savitri’s life right from her childhood to her last stages through this flick.
In the film Keerthy Suresh will be seen essaying the role of Savitri and Dulquer Salmaan plays the role of Gemini Ganeshan. The film also has an ensemble cast of Samantha, Naga Chaitanya, Vijay Deverakonda, Mohan Babu, Prakash Raj and several other actors. The film’s music is by Mickey J Meyer.
